The Pushkinsky Theater born from modernism has not progressed into the technology of todays society. This proposed ideal strides to bring this great theater into an age of technology and experience. The proposed structure is stripped of its entire facade, exposing the structure within. The plan is manipulated to bring all patrons into the ground floor space. The new glass skin of the theater reflects the cinema of past in a ceramic frit. New billboards of copper mash laced with LED lighting becomes the cinema of new with its programmable lights showing mivies in the square for all to see. The new image of this theater is to be one of an advanced technology which reflects the cinema of yesterday, today and tomorrow. A vitality will be brought back to the square that has been missing for some time. Life will begin to populate the square as the public is able to view the openings from within the theater on these billboards in the square. These billboards represent the old skin being removed and fitted with LED displys which enable a complete interactive experience for all.
