Alana Nha Trang Beach built to meet the need of strong tourism development in recent years in Nha Trang. Located in the middle of the tourist center, inside foreigner neighborhood and 30 meters away from the beach, ALANA hotel designed to be a place for relaxation and it is a luxury hotel than other in similar scale. The hotel has 22 floors with 108 hotel rooms, 14 meters in width and 25
Natural sunlight and ventilation have been included in the design by the fact that all of the rooms access to the sea view, while the corridor axis is arranged with ventilation and convection, reducing the use of artificial lights and air-conditioners and contributing to energy conservation. Because of the narrow center area, we have created two green walls to develop a green view for the building and contribute to creating a microclimate, as well as solve boundary issue between two adjacent buildings and provide a highlight to the lobby area.
The idea is to exploit the inside and outside spaces into one unified block, borrowing each other’s space, which solved clearly in the main lobby space. The glass partitions are crystal, while the wooden lines on the ceiling are developed and modulated from the ceiling to the wall, not only contributing to stretching the space but also creating the luxury, widening the space as well as creating a great impression for the lobby and making an attraction from the outside. It seems that the inside and outside spaces are mixed together, breaking all boundaries so that the trees outside are also felt in the inside.
The buffet restaurant is located on the 3rd floor. With the idea to create an impressive open space and reduce any disadvantages of the low space height, a cloud made from wooden spokes is covered on the ceiling, while the entire technique system is exposed and painted in black and dark color. Large wooden collars are designed as a support of the ceiling block, the remaining walls are designed in black glass and mirror as a background for the wooden structures, making the space more widespread and multidirectional. The wooden cloud is hidden and unhidden interchangeably which is observed clearly in the evening when combining with the lighting system. What a cozy, luxurious, high class and impressive space!
The L-shaped swimming pool and bar are located on the top floor and the maximum width connects the pool’s surface and the horizon, helping the guests to enjoy themselves as at the beach from the unlimited height. Trees are also planted there to create a tropical atmosphere for the swimming pool area.
