The Alamein University Master Plan, directs the growth of Alamein University for the next 30 years. From the first stone of its multipurpose Phase 1 building, to full build-out of the campus contemplating a student population of approximately 15,000 students. The campus is laid out as a series of courtyards and quads framed by buildings and colonades, responding to the client's request of a classically inspired campus. Located off the Northern Coast of Africa, the series of courtyards help create a microclimates trhough vegetation. Buildings' placement has a rationale to create shadows and avoid overexposure to the desert sun.
