AL SEEF MALL

STATUS
Under Construction
SIZE
25,000 sqft - 100,000 sqft
Al Seef Mall is an 80,000 square meter seafront shopping center located in the city of Sharjah. The requirements of the project were to create a luxury shopping experience that engages with the natural environment and breaks away from the isolated, consumerist, and artificial environment of the commercial shopping mall towards a more family oriented, experience based, holistic entertainment destination. The Architecture consists of a series of masses between which the surrounding environment infiltrates the project through the open central piazza, the entrance axis, and the perforated facades overlooking the seafront. The pattern of the facades is inspired by the Ghagour which is the traditional fishing net used within the site and the fishing heritage of Sharjah.
