We were commissioned to design a condominium building for sale under a concept named by the developer as SIXTY STYLE. The project's idea was to cater to a segment of society known as "empty nesters," which describes people around 60 years old living without their children at home. These individuals find their homes too large but do not move to other properties because they can't find anything that matches the benefits of living in a spacious place, surrounded by nature, in a quiet area away from the city's chaos.
The challenge was complex; however, we set out to create a building that reflected special attention to the needs and preferences of future residents, with units that, despite being small, felt spacious and provided a place that promoted a healthy, communal lifestyle connected with nature.
The building's location is truly privileged: it is situated in front of a 3-hectare park full of vegetation and activities such as basketball courts, tennis, soccer, children's playgrounds, etc. This inspired the project's name, "Edificio Al Parke."
The design focused on maximizing views and integration with the park, creating a sense of openness and connection with the surroundings. The main access to the building is through a plaza designed not only as a functional space but also as a meeting place that fosters interaction among residents and visitors.
Regarding the selected materials, durability and ease of maintenance were prioritized. This ensures that tenants can enjoy a clean and well-maintained environment without additional effort, and it also promotes harmonious living among residents by reducing concerns related to daily maintenance.
The incorporation of abundant vegetation in the project reinforces the feeling that the building is a natural extension of the adjacent park. This vegetation not only beautifies the environment but also helps improve air quality and provides a healthier and more welcoming atmosphere for residents.
In summary, the "Edificio Al Parke" is not just a place to live but a home designed to enrich the lives of its inhabitants. From its inception, it was created to foster physical and emotional well-being through architecture that celebrates the connection with nature and the community, thus setting a high standard in urban quality of life.
