Situated fifty kilometers to the south of the Dubaï city center, this new terminal is located in a new multimodal airport center (DWC), including, in addition to the Al Maktoum International Airport, sites with business activities that are specific to the aeronautical sector, business district and complexes with housing and recreational areas.
This highly significant project occupies about 5% of the surface of the Emirate.
This new terminal, the largest low-cost terminal in the world, is thus the cornerstone of a complex that aims ultimately to handle a capacity of 120 million passengers.
ADPI provided complete design and construction supervision services through commissioning. The terminal incorporates the latest innovations in the area of airport engineering (bagages handling system optimized, services to passengers, efficiency of passenger route…). Value engineering surveys were also conducted by ADPI teams.
