The competition was to design a shelter for people living in the Indian Ocean Rim affected by natural disasters.My response was a shelter that harvest its own rain water, give people a dry space to sleep by raising the sleeping space above the ground. I also had the idea of connecting the shelters together to form a common space in between where crops can be cultivated.
