A minimalistic and bespoke family dwelling
In the heart of Indirapuram GC Grand, where familial ties and heritage converge, a transformative project unfolds within the walls of an existing structure. Resaiki Interiors and architecture design studio embraces the challenge of blending the old with the new, tasked with reimagining a residence for a young couple from a quaint town near Patna.
A 3200 sq ft space - once housing two separate flats, now meticulously deconstructed and reborn as a contemporary 3BHK haven. Inspired by the couple's penchant for minimalism, the design palette is dominated by neutral tones—dark and light greys, monochromatic accents, and the warm embrace of white oak teak. The result is a space that exudes lightness, deliberately departing from conventional notions of excessive storage.
The grandeur of the residence unfolds in the master bedroom, an expansive 800 sq ft sanctuary that defies traditional norms. Resaiki challenges the ordinary, eschewing standard stainless steel finishes for a bespoke Korean setup, including book racks, towel holders, soap dispensers, and trays. This unique touch satisfies both aesthetic preferences and addresses concerns about erosion, showcasing Resaiki's commitment to both form and function.
Immersing themselves in the epitome of luxury, our clients spared no expense, investing lavishly in distinguished Italian furniture brands like Farma Living and securing exquisite pieces from Boho Concept. The heart of their home, the kitchen, became a testament to bespoke craftsmanship, tailored to their vision. The grand entrance, a showpiece in itself, was entrusted to the skilled artisans at World of Stones, who transformed it into a breathtaking masterpiece with a running water ripple effect stone engraving.
In a stroke of ingenuity, we stepped beyond conventions, carving out an intimate powder area in an unexpectedly small space. Here, every detail is a commitment to sophistication, with specialised brass fittings sourced from Aligarh. The doors have been meticulously crafted on-site, setting the stage for what lay beyond.
As one steps inside, a sense of serenity envelopes the foyer area that acts like a brief pause before the grand reveal. The interplay of glass and MS in the partition sets the tone for what lies ahead, guiding the eye toward the focal point of the living space. The play of light is a recurring theme throughout the residence, culminating in an L-shaped living space adorned with Urja Lights—a breathtaking installation that bathes the area in a warm, inviting glow.
Matt lacquered glass, a departure from conventional reflective surfaces, adorns the TV panelling, offering a flawless and uniform finish in a taupe hue that seamlessly complements the elongated space. Adding an element of surprise and functionality, a customised retractable study table unit takes centre stage. Purposefully designed for shared study sessions, it discreetly unfolds during tuition time, transforming the space into an optimal learning environment for two.
The nuances of Vaastu find expression in the carefully selected colour palette, with earthy tones gracing the balcony tiles and slim, customised planters adorning the property's modest outdoor spaces. In every corner, in every choice, the essence of this project is about transcending expectations. It's not merely about design; it's about creating an immersive experience—a symphony of elegance, functionality, and awe-inspiring aesthetics.
This minimalistic marvel in Indirapuram GC Grand stands as a testament to the firm's ability to weave dreams into reality, creating spaces that not only reflect their occupants' personalities but also redefine the very essence of modern luxury.
