“SILO 2” car park provides nearby parking for voyagers who need to reach their
plane as quickly as possible. It has a capacity of 3 153 car spaces and 76
motorbike spaces over 8 levels. From the city, the entrance to the airport site
is treated like a landscape, which emerges from the abstract background as a
metal blade. The sheet of metal opens, deforms, dematerialises, reflects the
sky, suggesting transparency and beacon in revealing the access points and the
ramps.
