Our first foray into the Branded Activation world, what a way to start!
In the winter of 2013 CIVIC and Airbnb invited us to compete to design, fabricate, inatsall, and style what would be known as the “Airbnb HAUS” for the Sundance Film Festival . We had less than 2 months to have the project festival ready. So we began our journey with our awesome client, an amazing team, and skipped sleep for a few months, in the end, it was worth it!
BIG LEARNING EXPERIENCE! As a studio we have learned to take opportunities to challenge ourselves to create spaces for our clients that illicit raw experiential connections between them, and the people they love. Because as Architects, Designers, and Artists we know meaningful space can not exist if it does not connect in some fundamental human way with the way the space is used.
