This residence in Aegina was conceived as a modern retreat that harmonizes fully with the island’s natural landscape and abundant light. Our studio designed a space rooted in the principles of timeless minimalism, with an emphasis on simplicity, calmness, and material honesty.
The interiors are defined by clean lines, earthy textures, and a soft, neutral color palette that reflects the natural environment of Aegina. Natural light is treated as a key architectural element animating surfaces and volumes throughout the day, while large openings frame uninterrupted views of the Saronic Gulf.
Sculptural accents, textured wall art, and custom-designed furniture enhance the sense of continuity and uniqueness throughout the home. Stone, wood, fabric, and plaster are used in a way that reinforces the tactile, sensory experience of the space.
Every element was selected or designed with longevity in mind intended to age gracefully over time strengthening the home's connection to both its landscape and memory.
