KGD Architecture provided masterplanning, architectural and interior design services for a 40-acre site, 1 million FAR SF among 4 buildings in multiple phases.
Phase one consists of a seven story office building on top of 2-story concourse space which has two 275 seat auditoriums. Below the concourse is a data center.
Half of the 40 acre site included two streams and forested areas, which provided challenges but also opportunities for the design to integrate with nature. Two office towers, a visitor center, two levels of below grade concourse, a data center, and underground parking (575 spaces) make up the master plan for this campus.
The angular structures and prismatic volumes of the buildings echo the companies forward thinking trajectory. The reflective glass walls provide security for operations, but at the same time, reflections of the nature and sky in the glass act as camouflage, allowing the buildings to disappear into its surrounding environment. Thus, offering security and safety through integration.
