This project consists in a remodeling and extension of the old building and is divided in two parts, one side for remodeling and the other side to the north of the building the extension

We had to divide the program in both sides and design only one building, we were looking for erase the limits between the extension and the remodeling, in the side of the remodeling we only conserved the estructure and we could change the entire imagen of the airport, with our proposal we could solved the problem of the heat into the terminal because the original facades were oriented to the west and to the east

We designed a double facade with a perforated sheet in the exterior face that is separated of the original facade as a thermal mattress, and this fringe of material runs in both sides

The new airport is open and iluminated with a new and contemporary image, it can works with the regulations and standars of quality that a bulding like this one requires
