Honoring an Icon

The iconic 9-story Admiral Twin Drive-In was built in 1951 and became famous in the 1983 movie The Outsiders. It burned down on September 3, 2010. But with the help of 1Architecture, the trapezoidal form has been resurrected and updated, complete with a new rooftop stage and sustainable concession stand.
