The 355,000 sq.ft. expansion provided the Music, Dance, and Theatre departments of the Faculty for Fine Arts state- of-the-art teaching, exhibition and performance facilities. The new buildings also house the York University Art Gallery and a student-run art gallery. The program includes dozens of state- of-the-art classrooms ranging from 30 to 500-seat capacity, a 325-seat recital hall, a 325-seat proscenium theatre, a 500-seat cinema, an 80-seat screening room, extensive support space and faculty offices.
