Located in the St.Francis Xavier Centre for the Differently-Abled, this is a ramp for access to the dormitories on the first floor of the hostel building in the campus.
The ramp is structured around a central line of reinforced cement concrete columns that cantilever slabs as the individual ramp flights on either side and also support the roof covering.
The pictures here convey the comparison between the completed addition with the existing condition and sequence of the construction.
