Mr and Mrs Edmundson took over a badly run-down 77 bed bunkhouse in need of some TLC with a view to convert the building creating a café with rooms. The end result is a fresh, bright contrast to its predecessor.
The interiors were stripped out to make way for a cafe complete with snug and a kitchen. The bedrooms were overhauled creating 6 double en-suites including an accessible and dog friendly room. A complete revamp and upgrade of the energy systems was carried out to ensure a cosy, pleasant visit all year round.
Nethy House has had historic features reinstated and the project also saw the removal of both wet and dry rot. The addition of a south-west facing terrace, a 3 bedroomed owners annex and plenty of parking make this a must-stop if passing through Nethybridge.
