This is a Shinto shrine built to remember the city’s origin, designed for the Water and Land art festival held in the city of Niigata. This shrine is located in a vacant lot between two bridges where there were once many houses that now no longer exist. In a constantly changing city, this shrine is a place to meditate within the calm environment of the main hall.
