LIFE CYCLES
The proposed house is an architectural interpretation of the life cycles.
The house is organized with two hemispheres and a connector.
The urban hemisphere is at the entrance of the house. It contains the porte-cochere, 6-car garage, home office, home theater, storage spaces, and employee quarters.
The nature hemisphere opens to the beach and the sea. It contains the dining room, breakfast nook, living room, gymnasium, game room, bedrooms, and guest apartments. All these spaces open to wide terraces protected with retractable insect screens.
The connector contains an interior garden. This space organizes all the horizontal and vertical circulations, relates the house hemispheres, and provides a spatial transition between the entrance and the sea.
