Originally a modest stone farmhouse from the 1920's, a brutalist style modern wing from the late 1960's had a lasting impression on the future homeowners of this home in St. Louis County. Purchased for its unique quality of spaces, the homeowners quickly realized living with a young family in the sprawling home proved difficult. A master plan was developed to improve site circulation, a modern entry and addition was designed to bring balance to the facade, and a new, open kitchen was developed to create a unified modern living space.
