The site was not suitable for building a house, but the presence of a tree in front of the site motivated us. This tree was the only valuable element around the site. The smallness of the land caused a large part of it to be dedicated to the building, leaving only about 30 square meters of the land as open space. According to legal regulations, this space should be dedicated to green space.
Also, the building should have been designed in front of the site and the open space behind it, but we didn't like that because it devalued the open space. Therefore, after obtaining a legal permit, we moved the open space (green) to the front of the construction site to protect the privacy of the tree and to have green space, light and better visibility.
Organization and hierarchy:
The main organization of the plan includes two square spaces, one in the northwest and the other in the southeast of the building and a Z-shaped space between the two. The square of the floors was assigned to the main spaces and the Z-shaped space was assigned to the communication space and holes of the project. The entrance to the building on the ground floor starts from the beginning of the Z-shaped space and after passing through the semi-open space and seeing the yard, the garden pit and the tree, you can reach the main entrance. Then, the filter space at the entrance of the building, which is 6 meters high, and reminds the vestibule of old houses. In general, the placement of spaces, windows, balconies and the overall design pattern of the facade and the volume of the project were designed so that the tree is in the center of attention of the building.
