Tailored to the client’s interests and activities, this project sought to create an economical form of architecture that invested in their most important needs. The house is simple in detail but rich in light, space, and life, adapting its rooms to the unique shape of the plot without losing functionality or aesthetics.
The ground floor features a 1,100-square-foot living area in which a living room, dining room, and kitchen are combined. Outside, a pergola covers the terrace with an outdoor kitchen and pool nearby. There is also a large painting studio on the lower level with openings at all orientations, allowing for various qualities of light to enter throughout the day.
Bedrooms are located on the top floor; the master suite consists of a continuous space that integrates a bedroom, bathroom, dressing room, and office area. The room is open and enjoys light from all directions, creating a tranquil area for the owners. A spacious guest room is also located on this floor.
Simple materials and geometries, spatial richness, and natural light define this house as the perfect resting place for its occupants and a villa to enjoy great weather and nature.
