Someone once said to me, "There's nothing you can do with a 5' x 7' bathroom."
I had to laugh!
This custom bathroom designed and built for my father features glass doors—the left one pivoting (allowing the user to turn on the shower while standing outside of the tub); the right one sliding for entry.
Custom stainless steel rails are seamlessly integrated into the design. Each is carefully placed so that at any spot in the bathroom, a rail (aka grab bar) is precisely where your hand naturally goes. Additionally, the curved grab bar just above the tub spout makes it easy for my father to pull himself up to his feet (despite a dramatic loss of upper body strength).
