CleanChoice Energy, founded in 2011 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., sells 100 percent renewable energy to consumers in the competitive electric marketplace. Electric consumers who choose CleanChoice Energy as their electricity supplier can buy energy that is produced completely in some states. Tom Matzzie, President says, “Many people think renewables are too expensive but they’re often the same price as traditional dirty energy due mostly to no fuel costs for wind, sun, and water. CleanChoice Energy supports 100% clean energy.” For a terrific personal story about why Tom started his business please go to: http://magazine.good.is/articles/buying-renewable-power-should-be-as-easy-as-downloading-an-app. The design preserved the panoramic Georgetown C&OCanal views from 1055 Thomas Jefferson Washington, DC by in-boarding the pantry and meeting spaces. We listened to Tom: “Love having different furniture in each conference room; chairs can be different styles and different colors; all tables to be the same (or similar) Walnut finish some cohesiveness across the rooms.” The designers added fun accent pieces like the Dietiker Monâne stools, Keilhauer end tables and Steelcase i2i chairs. CleanChoice Energy also touts bragging rights as the first in the region to use the Coalesse Lagunitas system for high back alcove seating. Wingate Hughes supports CleanChoice Energy’s progressive spirit! We like to think that our clients are drawn to WHA because we too defy convention and push beyond the status quo. We applaud CleanChoice Energy’s well deserved success. This is a brilliant way for homeowners to participate in renewable energy.
