The young Italian designers iarchitects designed 9 new retail spaces for one of the world's leading telecommunications groups Vodafone.
The design for the italian stores is based on giving visitors a warmer welcome, and enhancing their shopping experience thanks to some specific technological, architectonical and stylistic devices.
Davide Cumini partner of iarchitects reveals us what’s behind the retail design that became distinctive of Vodafone Italian stores “The Italian market is very different from north to south and Vodafone counts more than 1000 shops (from retail spaces to flagship stores), so we developed variations to the Vodafone international design concept to address these different situations.
The project is one of the most important retail operations in Italy. iarchitects created a modern but reassuring environment adapting the international guidelines unifying it with form and materials peculiar of the Italian living style. Wood paired with technological materials such as Acrilic Surface results in a cozy familiar environment where clients can live a unique shopping experience: touching and trying the latest products while feeling himself at home. Iarchitects selected famous italian brand design products integrated in a discret way without subtracting attention to the exposed products.
