This first residental project by Urban Operations was designed to contain all of the predictable spatial desires of the mass-market while rejecting the traditional notions of domestic occupation. The boundaries between the familiar signifiers of domesticity are contaminated by the operative functions of work, resulting in a series of open, inter-connected spaces which contain the
remainders of what we all view as "house". The project has been featured on HGTV, and on both the 2007 Silver Lake Modernism Tour and the Dwell 2009 Home Tour.
