Housing competitions are rare these days, but the Peak Competition in Hong Kong remains an iconic example of ambition and innovation. 🌁 Perched on the dramatic cliffs of Victoria’s Peak, this prestigious project was designed to overlook Hong Kong's breathtaking skyline and harbor—offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create something truly extraordinary in one of the city’s most exclusive locations.
Although George Ranalli’s entry wasn’t initially selected, it ultimately became the realized version of the project. His visionary design not only fulfilled the demanding brief but also solved intricate zoning challenges with bold and iconic architectural language. The result? A timeless masterpiece that reflects the spirit and culture of Hong Kong.
