Copley Wolff Design Group worked in conjunction with CBT architects to design this roof deck on the seventh floor of an office building located in downtown Boston. The roof deck was created as an amenity for the occupants of the building and includes a variety of seating areas and types, flexible/movable tables and chairs, and open spaces for gatherings such as small events or team meetings. A variety of low-maintenance sedums including deciduous and evergreen plants were planted in minimal soil depth and along the perimeter, precast ornamental planters have been placed and contain flowering plants to create pops of color throughout the spring, summer, and early fall seasons Large canopy trees run down the center of the deck, providing shade and additional seasonal interest.
