In a context where green spaces are rare, the specificity of the project was to base and organize the building in parallel with the garden, and turn it present from the street. The visual permeability from the street into the green space allows the anonymous pedestrian to discover punctually the heart of the urban block, a green space, a garden, a common life and a children playground. At the same time, it creates an area of transition between the public life of the street, the common space of the inhabitants, and the privacy of each apartment, and not a border, a boundary between these two worlds of our urban everyday lifeThe two buildings that surround our site have very different heights. The project has been designed as a volumetric transition building. For that, we played with three volumes of different heights, which is such as a reminiscence of the game chimneys of existing buildings all around our siteThe project is composed of inter-touching volumes resulting in several terraces with view over the garden.
