515 Highline is located on 29th Street between 10th and 11th Avenue in Manhattan’s West Chelsea neighborhood. The building is uniquely situated at the center of the 90-degree bend of the High Line park, making it Manhattan’s only site with the High Line on two sides. The design architect for the building is Soo K. Chan, founder of SCDA Architects.
The building features 12 units with approximately 32,000 square feet of residential space and 4,600 square feet of commercial space. The building is expected to be completed in December of 2014.
Residences: The lower floors of the building are comprised of half floor units (2,200 square feet) and full-floor units (at 4,400 square feet). Price points for the residences range from $5 million to $25 million.
Apartment Features: Bleached oak floors and bronze detailing throughout each unit with hints of stone, wood, cotton, linens and leather throughout. Kitchens consist of Miele appliances and blond oak cabinetry. Five-fixture bathrooms include standalone bathtubs. Azul limestone walls, lava stone floors and custom designed hardware.
Building Amenities: Residents enjoy private, expansive outdoor spaces – each with their own fire pit – with breathtaking views of the High Line and some of the most interesting, well-landscaped areas of the new Hudson Yards, including a view down to the Culture Shed that will be the forever home of New York Fashion Week.
Each home has a private elevator that opens directly into the residence. The building also touts a separate chef’s kitchen which provides caterers a full facility in which to prepare culinary delights for gatherings such as dinner parties or philanthropic events.
