INTERNATIONAL APPEAL FOR A REGIONAL BRAND

Drawing inspiration from the cultural heritage of Qatar and
combining it with the modernity of the west gives 51 East a look and feel
befitting its location and brand. Antique and vintage pieces along with
contemporary Gulf-Regional art were collected from throughout the region and
strategically placed in the store providing a regional context to the
international fashion offering. The juxtaposition of the cultural
combinations also gives equal prominence to two opposing merchandise
categories, fashion and electronics, in the newly branded Modern home
department store.
