The design concept for the clothing store 5 Tasche considers both the clients’ need to define an easily recognizable place and the constrains of this specific internal space in relation to the surrounding urban space in the historic city center of Trento. For this reason, the interior layout is conceived as a continuous open space connected with the arched shop windows, positioning on the opposite side of the openings an equipped wall containing changing rooms, shelving and storage elements, technical equipment and the access door to the storage. In front of the shop windows, the equipped wall is marked by a series of niches containing the mirrors which emphasize the rhythm of the window openings. On the side of the shop windows, there is a continuous platform and a tubular steel bar to expose the clothes. The construction materials underline the simple composition of volumes and surfaces: white painted MDF panels cut with CNC machines, tubular steel bars and panels. The electrical system, realized with stainless steel conduits, is exposed and conceived as a unifying element containing light fittings and switches. The general lighting system is composed by suspended LED bars for the open space and punctual pendant lights for the shop windows and for the mirror niches. The design concept includes the design of the corporate identity, the logo and all its possible declinations.
