SINKULIHAYA is a proposed Mixed-use Skyscraper which will consist of a Cultural Mall Complex and a 27-Storey Residential Tower that will be built along the skylines of the 240-hectare Bonifacio Global City, one of the premier rising and business and residential districts in the country. In this project, the researchers aims to develop a complex, not just for dwelling but also for cultural celebration and preservation by combining the place of dwelling with cultural center and one of the favorite places of Filipinos which is the mall.
The Cultural Mall Residential Complex also envisions to cater the needs of the rising population and demand for a place for living in and recreation because of the growing industries and investments along the area.
Moreover such complex focuses on building a structure which is sustainable yet adaptive to the tropical climate. It uses the passive techniques on light and ventilation combined with the modern technologies on sustainability and disaster-readiness.
The creation of the project will be a model for a sustainable tropical vertical development that centers not just for the needs of dwelling but also to the needs of culture and arts. This will be both beneficial for the developments of BGC but also an icon for the country.
