Castle on the Concourse is a project designed in response to a RFP issued by the New York City Housing Preservation & Development. The site was formerly occupied by PS 31, a large gothic style public school that needed to be demolished by the city due to safety concerns.

This project proposes the construction of a new 293,000 gross square foot, mixed-use building. The uses will consist of first-floor commercial spaces, including a supermarket, a middle school, health clinics and a large residential building that opens up to Garrison Playground located immediately to the north of the site.
