The refurbishment and extension of Grade II listed 37 Soho Square created 5 new apartments right in the heart of London’s west end.
The development includes 4 no. 1,850sqft 3bed apartments at upper levels, a 1,600sqft 2bed duplex apartment at ground and basement level and a 950sqft commercial unit with access directly onto Soho Square at ground level. The project involved the addition of a new 3 storey rear extension, single storey rooftop extension and the creation of new basement spaces to maximise the potential of the existing building and provide each apartment the benefit of outdoor balcony or roof space, which is very rare in central London.
We worked closely with EA Shaw property agents and Westminster City Council Planning and Heritage officers to develop the proposal and the contractor, Ellmer Construction, delivered the very high quality finish which we demanded for such a pretigious location.
