3403 Piedmont is located adjacent to the historic Saw Mill Building. The site is currently underutilized as a surface parking lot and will be used to house a 76-unit residential infill high-rise. Heights of various building components and transitions of materials respond to the context and heights of other buildings in the area known as Upper Broadway Auto Row. The massing & materials pay homage to the adjacent historic Saw Mill building. The façade facing auto row creates an ideal canvas for public art. The redevelopment of the site includes upgrades to the common areas of the adjacent commercial building.
