Projects will be judged on general architectural merit and presentation, not on the criteria of the original competition.The aim of the Competition Competition is to recognize the architectural dreams that should have made it. We want to rescue these worthy designs from the annals of flat files and off-site hard drives everywhere. Re-submit your work and let it be re-judged on its merits. ELIGIBILITY Any project submitted to an architectural competition whose winners were announced in the 2009 calendar year. Projects are ineligible if they were rewarded or recognized in any way by the jury or governing body of the original competition. This includes second places and honorable mentions. Submissions may include the work of firms, architects, designers, students, teams… anyone, as long as they are credited.SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Submissions must be uploaded to Architizer.com. The project profile must include the following: - A text description of the project - The lead design firm or project leader - All team members must be credited - Please submit as many images as necessary to fully explain the submission (minimum 3 images). Original boards are not necessary - CC2010 must be added as a tag to the project profile, without this tag the project will not be eligible. Project names must be submitted as follows: OFFICIAL NAME OF ORIGINAL COMPETITION - Name of Entry For example: DESIGNING THE HIGHLINE - Railway Dreams If there is no name for the project you may substitute the firm’s name. SUBMISSION FEEIt’s free! We don’t think architects should have to pay to show the work they did for free. DEADLINEFebruary 15, 2009 11.59pm EST JURY The jury will consist of an international team of architects and curators headed by Jurgen Mayer. Further details to be disclosed prior to judging. SELECTIONThe jury will deliver the results on February 19th 2009 in New York City.
