The existing raw space was integral to the overall project design with exposed piping, concrete slab floors, structural column capitals, against very polished materials, such as, glass walls along the interior private offices, white kitchen cabinetry, modern furniture and bright whimsical light fixtures.
The color palette generates drama between neutral finishes and unexpected bright accent colors in the breakout areas and carpet tiles. A brushed metal tile is suspended from the ceiling and forms a focal point in the break area to bridge the functional and aesthetics of the environment. High concrete ceilings evoke a feeling of openness, which is reinforced by the impressive daylight and vibrant downtown city views.
The new paradigm for collaboration in the office is illustrated through the use of several different work settings, and shows how to support an open office plan. Work settings include benching, assigned workstations, private offices, conference rooms, breakout areas, lounge, coffee bar, and many types of collaboration areas both large and small.
Meeting areas were placed in the center with the workstations along the perimeter to allow the natural light to penetrate deep into the work environment.
