The project is generated from two main ideas: the view towards the surrounding territory as a result of the privileged situation of the site and the adoption of an industrialized piece as an element container of the habitable space. The “prefabricated looks” are aimed at three main sites: the urban area, the quarries and the mountain, from a careful intervention on the site, which is carried out with the utmost respect, executing only the indispensable ground movements to allow access to each of the boxes inhabited. The result is integrated housing in which architecture and nature coexist from a rational composition of pieces to suit the place. The adoption of this solution contributes to reinforce the idea of the need to save energy, both in the constructive process and in the later habitable phase. This is one line of work, which our practice has been researching for years and which is the result of our conviction about that the present architecture is becoming more and more sustainable in the broadest sense of the word.
