The project called for the renovation of a Victorian duplex and the creation of an additional ground floor. To achieve this, the building was lifted and the space below recovered. The exterior and interior of the new street level unit have a contemporary style, reflecting its age. In contrast, the shared exterior above was restored to its original quality and detailing while the interiors were modernized.
