2226 residenceThis 100 year old 2-flat in Chicago was revitalized both inside and out. Minor updates were done to the bottom two units while the Owner’s unit was completely gutted. Due to the modifications over the building’s history, none of the original interior details remained. Therefore, a modern streamlined approach was taken with the new details - custom picture frame trim profiles, sliding glass doors and an all stainless steel kitchen island. The materials and suppliers had to be creatively chosen to stay within the projects tight budget.
