The project is settled at the back of a nice private wooded plot. The construction branches into the landscape as if it were a tree. The project can be modified in time, by joining the four apartments to form one unit or two. The entrance walkway’s leading to the central patio, a communal space that gives access to the four units comprising the 2+2 houses.
The ends of each wing are twisted following the natural restrictions and the aspects. The space’s flexible, liberated from any technical constraints to make easier any future change in the use of the houses.
The building’s transparency increases as one moves through the interior spaces towards the extremities. The far end of the four homes are completely transparent, creating a point of encounter and commonality with the surrounding nature. The architects have used a metallic frame on pilotis which adapts to the site and respects the differences of height or the dips and hollows in the ground.
Each house is unique by its view, its exposition and its shape.
