The positioning of the project contributes to recreating an urban grid while raising the issue of how best to use the large industrial wastelands to be found in the city. To contribute to the district’s new identity, we propose a single block aligned on its four sides around a central garden that remains open, airy and diversified. The sporadic emergence of tall constructions serves to emphasise the quality of the housing units: the upper parts of the project provide an opportunity to introduce individuality in collective housing while also providing distant views over the cityscape. They create an astonishing urban landscape where constructed forms and greenery provide a new and attractive skyline.
