2005/2016 Premio COAM: Exhibition and Book

Madrid, Spain

STATUS
Built
YEAR
2018
COAM every year honors the best works of architecture done by its members. This year they wanted to design a book and an exhibition of the book that displayed the previous winners in a creative way.
Our proposal created a linear exhibition by unfolding the book contents out in a curved line. The exhibition design reflects the masonry of COAM, with typography and its soft colors. Making it fit distinctly into its environment.
By unrolling the book contents within the space, it allowed visitors to experience the COAM gallery in a new fashion but also see all 154 individual winners of the prize.
