Located on the grounds of the historic Camp Harry Daniels, this 270 acre “learning laboratory” hosts university functions including camp facilities, a leadership training multipurpose arena, a lake, recreational playing fields and nature trails. This was the first opportunity of this historically black institution to have an office campus facility to support adjutant activities.
The Conference Center includes a meeting facility for 350 persons and cabins for 32 persons totalling approximately 15,000 S.F. The meeting facility and the cabins are align along the due north axis in order to take advantage of maximum daylighting at the continuous clerestory beneath hovering roofs at the main meeting space.
