Redesigning the street front facade, main lobby and elevators for an office building in Midtown Manhattan, the project improved the building entrance appearance and accessibility for tenants and visitors. Incorporating 60SF from an adjacent retail space, the new lobby area was also visually enlarged by cladding the walls and floor in light marble, and creating dramatic lighting effects with cutouts. The main canopy is a continued detail of the interior ceiling and the dark aluminum storefront, bringing the inside out.
