The Annex is a neighbourhood in downtown Toronto and is mainly residential, and streets are lined with tall trees circa 1880 to the early 1900s. Due to a government freeze on development in 1975, most of the original houses still exist.
142 Barton Ave. was renovated in large scale, completely inside out of an existing house and built two individual dwelling units.
It’s a home that integrates proportions, functionality, and aesthetic in a great way.
It’s a perfect example of modern looking interior through the fine lines in every room and every details. Featured wall wrapped the stair case in the centre of main floor and its seamless design created a flawless semitransparent wall between stair and kitchen.
Third floor was defined as a private storey for master suit under a double-pitched roof and has many extraordinary interior views in master bedroom and its en-suite.
Each gap, due to renovation, was filled by a custom design furniture.
