12oz, the first in a series of stores launched by NDD to promote their street coffee, has been launched in Milan, Italy.
The concept of Stefan Davidovici/ Climbnet Architects, Federica Bergamo and Costanza Salvini together with the graphic designer Cecilia Di Gaddo/ Stardelight, binds together all the elements of the new brand, from cups and accessories to the store itself.
Designing 12oz has been an adventure, because the idea of selling American coffee to Italians is evidently courageous in itself, and because the concept has more dimensions that are reflected in each other like in a mirror game. The slalom between architecture, graphics and communication during the crystallization of the new brand image is the direct result of an exciting, interactive design process, with a curious and open-minded client.
