This eclectic interior was created from the client's unique sensibilities. Florida's South Beach was another point of call for this client. This home in Toronto was to have more 'zeal' than a typical Toronto modern interior. More specifically it was to be a modern twist on Miami Beach Art Deco, coloration, textures and light. This is a very individualized approach. Singular in vision with little attempt to please the well healed Toronto design sensibility. A challenge to be sure.

Most of the furniture, wall layouts, flooring, fixtures, textures, lighting, sound system, audio visual display units, carpets, curtains, sheers, heated balconies, heating and cooling systems, unit acoustics, and more were custom. We are not able to show everything here.

What is nice about this project is that this client was determined to counter the conservative nature of Toronto in interior design and, perhaps, to expose and support a more colourful and evocative sensibility that we know to exist in Toronto's literature, art, music, film industry and food.
