The project “Preparing the ground for EU funds: Creating a pipeline of project ideas for Croatia’s less developed areas” was announced by UNDP Croatia and Ministry of Regional Development and EU Fonds. It supported the reconstruction and conversion of existing office building located in historic center of Petrinja.
Reconstruction acknowledges conservation guidelines, giving the space new meaning by converting it into a specialized store for souvenirs as well as traditional and local products.
Gift shop is divided into an active commercial area on the ground level and exhibition gallery on the upper level. Modern interior elements transform existing space into one volume with visual communication between floors.
